I think if that was to be made then both Hearn and FW would want that to take place in a Manchester stadium, especially given the local rivalry too I can see that happening in a stadium.

You must be joking. You'd put it Sky Box Office too I presume?

If there is a decent undercard, why not?

Hearn won't even bother with Flanagan, he'll have Crolla vs Mitchell and then whoever wins that fights Campbell or Burns, easy for him to set all those fights up

No I wouldn't, but I do think it will be in a stadium, that doesn't mean I would put it in a stadium though, but I do believe that's where they will put the fight should it happen.

If Crolla and Flanagan hold on to their titles and Quigg beats Frampton as i suspect he will then what about Quigg v Donaire and Flanagan v Crolla on same bill in either Old Trafford or the Ethihad? With that size crowd and PPV it would cover purses including Donaires. Remember ever who wins out of Quigg and Frampton will be a sporting mega star in Britain after that win.

Apart from hardcore boxing fans, absolutely nobody in Britain knows who these 2 are.

  10. Carl Froch was a champion and nobody knew who he was until he got with Hearn and Sky. Look how his career ended.

The Sky hype machine can make this a stadium fight if they want.

My way around it to satisfy Hearn & Wazza would be this:

One of Sky & Box Nation gets to show Crolla v Mathews III, and one of them gets to show Flanagan v Burns (with the other one that doesn't get it, gets to show it a few days later).

Winners (which you'd assume would be Terry and Crolla) meet in the Summer. And if Terry and Tony win stick it in the stadium and but it live on both channels.

Agree with fast car on this one.

The Belle Vue Greyhound stadium would be more than adequate to meet demand or the Etihad Academy Stadium.

The summer is 7 months away. It took Froch years to get to the level of PPV's and stadium fights.

I can't see how it would work....would they show on box office and boxnation? B.n is a monthly sub..so if you buy for one specific fight. .you get the month anyway @12 £.....hearn ppvs are usually 16.95 for one night. ....that's the stopping point

It wouldn't be on Box Office. Flanagan and to a lesser extent Crolla don't have the exposure they need yet, however they would make a lot of money in the Manchester area from ticket sales.

I think they'd have to do normal Sky and Boxnation
