Did the OP watch the fight? I thought Murray won, but at best Abraham won by three points.

Murray didn't win a single round against GGG.

 

I thought Murray earned the nod. That was some bull**** hometown German scoring.

 

I think you are forgetting several key factors here:

A. AA Is fighting at the weight class he is most comfortable in and has bee most successful at. Murray was coming up in weight.
. AA was fighting at home, Murray had to travel and finally
C. Murray came off a devastating KO loss while AA has never been knocked out and is coming off second win type wins in his career, with his confidence high.

These factors make up boxing. With these things against him, Murray still beat AA 115 to 112. I'd say that is pretty impressive.

 

Who has AA beaten that's worth a damn in recent years????

He lost to hands down to Dirrel, Froch, and Ward. Was knocked out by Robert Stieglitz.
He also was getting dominated by a shot Jermaine Taylor until he landed a lucky shot late in the fight.

All of these fights took place at 168 lbs.

Abraham has never beaten a great fighter, and his last real big win came against hyped up big puncher Edison Miranda in 2008.

Abraham is a little bit better than a C level fighter who's beating the type class fighter that GGG has faced.
That should tell you enough about the level of opposition that GGG has faced so far in his career.

 

Not sure what fight you were watching but Taylor's pity pat against Abraham's guard shouldn't be considered domination.

 

To your points:

A. In some cases, but you have to keep in mind here; A.A. is 5'9, Murray is 6-0, 6-1, and grew into the class naturally.

B. You look at Murray's record, he has fought in

Germany
South Africa
Monaco
England
The US
Argentina

And he was a world class amateur. Sure A.A has an advantage, but Murray's not a young guy.

C. Murray is 3-0 with 3 ko's since the Golovkin fight.

Murray has now lost to three washed up has-bens and one hall of famer, it is what it is.

Let me correct you there. Murray now has 3 "losses" as determined by home cooking decisions, all on opponents turf.

As I have stated in the past, he did not lose to Martinez (if we go by boxing and not by corrupt decisions) and he beat Abraham, as one judge dared to score it accurately.

 

More like Abraham drew with the guy GGG blasted out.
