He was was 0-3-1 in his four fights before Foster. One of those loses was to light heavy Harold Johnson, both weighed in at 171; I'm not saying Johnson wasn't great, but in I'm also not gonna say he was better than Roy. In the fight before Foster, he had a draw with some guy named Erich Shoppner who weighed in at 177.

As soon as Foster hits him clean, Roy goes into a coma.

Sure, if he hits him clean. Foster's heavy hands were the best in this loaded division.

I don't know, the polarity in this particular super fight is huge. Does Foster land his bombs or is RJJ too slick and fast to let it happen. I lean towards RJJ who has the speed AND enough power to keep Foster honest.

This is Bob Foster we're talking about...and he would shatter that well known glass.

Bob was special too. Very special. Was he as fast as Jones? No, Jones was that kind of special, however, Foster was a far better all around boxer than Jones and naturally BIGGER.

Foster beating Jones would not surprise me even as great as Jones was. Personally I think Jones could of been even better than he was because his unreal speed allowed him to get away with bad habits that don't help one learn how to become the best boxer they can be. Mind you that's nit-picking because Jones was pretty darn great.

Foster was special, for LHWs he was the cream of the crop.

Bob Foster fought on the distance, waiting for the chance. As much as I like Jones I don´t think he could´ve survived Foster´s left hook. Jones would not be able to lure Foster in to making mistakes. The other way around - like the Tiger KO - Foster may miss a few punches - but landing that left hook.

Roy Jones ain't too shabby either. Pretty damn dominant in his day as well. His "glass" wasn't exposed until he was 35 and his reflexes were on the decline.

Bob was pretty good and landed well on the likes of Ali and Frazier and dominated his division so I see him landing on Jones with his freakish power. Could Jones win by running all night? I would lean with Bob for the KO because of the Jones chin but Roy could fight the perfect fight and steal the fight.

Jones would have to be very careful in this one. He would have to be on his toes utilizing his speed to get in and out before Foster lands his power shots. I think Roy would win a decision. There is a chance he gets caught and stopped but he wouldn't be a stationary target, like most of Foster's light heavyweight victims. Jones by UD.

Foster was just as special as Jones in his own way...Roy had all those special physical gifts, and Bob was uniquely equipped to destroy lightheavyweights. Jones would have done his thing, but The Preying Mantis from Mars would have eventually found that china.

I think this would be a tactical type of fight and hard to call. I do think Jones' speed would be a factor the scoring. Either man could KO the other.

Jones on points, Foster via KO, or Jones Via KO do not seem unlikely.

Only Foster on points to me is unlikely.

I'd favor Jones by a small margin to win.

Foster was a big puncher at LHW. Tall with a long reach but he wasn't hard to find. Foster couldn't handle top HW power but I think he could handle Jones' power.

Jones wasn't stopped until he started to fade He's been stopped 4 times in 70 pro fights at this point and he's almost 47 years old. He was stopped twice at age 35, once at age 40, and once at age 42. Could he handle Foster's big shots? Would Foster land enough big shots to even answer that question?

I'm leaning toward Jones on points but Foster by KO would not shock me.

Foster had a huge reach to go with his size and power .. Jones would run and Bon would control it with his jab and win easily ..
