Come on then Len, heres the footage, now talk us through it. Explain to us all at what point it "was not looking good for him " ? You can even make out that kikos punches were hitting the target, instead of hitting elbows and gloves. You can even ignore all the counters that Quigg lands, and the way he was trying to draw Kiko onto the right hand. Fire away.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crmy7aJ34MA
Good grief. I cannot believe Frampton and his fans bang on about 1 above average round from kiko vs quigg. I can understand if quigg was getting battered for 5 rounds and then pulled out a hail Mary punch. You would then have an argument but using that 1st round in 12 round fight is laughable and pretty pathetic. Quigg wasn't even getting battered, that's what makes your argument redundant. Get some humility, eat some Humble pie and admit that Quigg was brilliant and did a superb job on kiko.
Watched an IFL interview with Bellew when I got back from that fight. Regardless of opinion of Bellew he was ringside and wasn't privy to any game plan. In discussing the fight he said to Kugan how he was surprised after the first round. The corner was calm and talking as though it was expected Don't know how to upload videos but worth a look
So you're picking quigg to beat Frampton then? I dont want to see another word from you until you man up. Get off the fence. Get the splinters out of your backside. Stop sniping at Frampton in such a cowardly fashion. State your preference once and for all. Put up or shut up.
If Frampton isn't a family member of your then you really are a massive cringe, crawl out of his **** for once in your life
Not sniping at anybody, just telling it how i see it. 50/50 fight as far as i'm concerned, and everything including purse etc should be split 50/50. There is no A side. I never had any issues with Frampton until he started talking ****e, now i cannot stand the man, or his team. Team Frampton are constantly trying to massage their own ego's in the build up, why is that, is something worrying them ? Unlike yerself Len, i give credit where its due, you've doen nothing but slate British fighters at every opportunity. Some on here won't understand your reasons why, but i know exactly what your issue is with the Brits.
This isn't a 50/50 fight its more a 60/40 in Frampton's favour. However, going on both of their last fights, you can see now that anything can happen.
i still think that frampton will beat quigg, he just has more tools in his ****nal, but anyone who thinks this will be a walk in the park for him are uninformed. quit is massive at the weight, strong and can bang so he will always be dangerous! Frampton on a close points decision that may be close enough for there to be a rematch (probably in a stadium)
Big fan of Frampton, I'm from Ireland, but also really like Quigg, great lad and hungry as a lion. I ve always thought Frampton would outpoint him, but the more and more I watch of Frampton there are huge gaps in his defense. I do agree Quigg looked like a dear in headlights in the first round against Kiko but he quickly fixed that. I see quigg chasing Frampton and it being a question of whether Frampton can box under that type of sustained pressure and counter quigg with enough power to make quigg think before he comes after him. Either way this is going to be a *******, press conferences were comedy gold. Roll on feb
How can you say there isn't an "A-Side" when Carl has arenas BUILT FOR HIM, yet Scott has never headlined a show till now? Sad part is is that Carl is need to make Scott a headliner in Scott's OWN TOWN!!!!
