Hopefully King can make the fight happen. Is Sam Peter part of King's roster?

I just read that King is partners with Duva, whatever that means. I don't know if it's just for this fight, or just with Sam Peter. Hopefully he has some influence with Peter and can get the Golota fight signed.

DKP is shareholder of 50% of Duva Boxing. Other 50% belongs to Duva. Peter has contract with Duva Boxing, so King has 50% rights to Peter. Negotiations started few weeks ago and they are at the end. Fight might be at the end of July.

What are the odds of this happening looking like in your view, joecool?

I've seen Golota vs Mollo recently on Eurosport and I was impressed with Golota. Before that I've seen Golota a long time ago vs Bowe. I must say that Golota is still in good shape, his workrate and stamina were impressive. He is not the fastest, but he's never been fast, so that doesn't matter. It seems to many he fights cleverer these days, paces himself. He is still open to a right hand, but if he manages to avoid being hit with too many of Peter's big punches he is very well capable to win a decision imo.

Does this mean that Duva has 50% rights to Golota? That would be wierd. I thought Duva and Golota did not end up on good terms. Maybe Andrew doesn't care as long as King handles his bouts.

I think King has control of Golota completely.
Its Peter that is handled by both Dino Duva and King.

You gotta give props to Golota. Who would've thought he'd become some popular?

Thats great news. Peter's conditioning is **** to begin with and if he is out of shape it will be even worse.

I heard from someone who use to train with Peter that he does not believe in doing roadwork either.

I hope Andrew is hitting the gym extra hard. This could be the good luck he has waited 15 years for!

Absolutely. I've had a feeling Peter would take Golota lightly. The stars are aligning. :good

We'll see Golota in there with Peter. That should create some interest in the HW division. King won't let Andy down.

You do realize that for us Golotaholics, once this fight is announced offical, its gonna 24/7 of nothing except thinking about the moment when that bell will ring & Golota & Peter crash into one another.

    ((((((((((((GO GOLOTA))))))))))))):smoke
