Just a theory but if no broadcaster picks this up it has the look/feel of a fight that could end up on EuroSport

Surprised this is in the O2 and not the Pork Hall.

Hopefully people remember losing 10% eventim non refundable fees for the Fury pull out and the joint could be empty.

I can't see this being anywhere near a sell out either, I think we will see black curtains, seat upgrades and 2-4-1 offers coming out.

I kind of agree with you Punter, o2 does seem a bit big for this event.

As for TV, Boxnation or ITV will be my bet.

He will need a decent enough name if he plans on selling it out, realistically I think only lower tier will go on sale.

I was thinking the same, although the ticket sales via o2 Priority are also selling upper tiers, looks like the plan is to have the full arena on sale - I sense free upgrades and black curtains.

Just to clarify I meant a decent enough name as support.

Agree he won't shift 20,000 tickets as standard, would imagine he is knocking on Sky's door to hype it.

We are on the cusp of a paradigm shift in the way that live sports events are broadcasted with YouTube Live already experimenting with pay-per-view for content providers.

If these Salter boys are as talented with social media as they claim to be, perhaps they are looking at putting fights out on the YouTube platform and monetising them? After all, YouTube Live provides a platform for promoters to generate revenue from a premium product, unhindered by territorial boundaries to reach a global audience. Add in sponsorship, product placement etc. plus a potentially massive worldwide audience and you have the potential to change the industry.

Are they his promoters? Surely they need a licence from BBBoC on assumption will be a UK sanctioned fight.

Reckon it will be on Sky - it will get good numbers and they will want as much hype pre Joshua fight

Seems a long shot, who would cover the relatively large production/broadcast costs?

ITV not out of the question. Haye is known to everybody. Would be the best thing for Haye promotion-wise by far.
