I`m sorry but we can`t speak about the chance of a British stoppage cause Pascal dominated until then.In addition was the first Andrade fight:you can`t ask to be something given to you what was not given for other with you on the other side in similar situations. And Pascal was not even half tired as Bute was in the other fight.
Degale didn't gas in the Dirrell fight. He was just not throwing enough punches in rounds 7 - 10. He was still defending and moving. I think his style looks like he is using a lot of energy without doing much. Bute's biggest problem is he is punch shy when faced with a mover. Pascal really does tire in his fights and was letting Bute look good at the end of the fight. Also having rewatched Froch-Bute, I give props to Bute's toughness he was taking many clean shots and only looked momentarily staggered but the place was going wild. He showed really poor defence and even a wild Froch was catching him.
bute is a kinda Canadian calzaghe, but without the avoiding tough fights or waiting for good fighters to get injured/old before being brave enough to face them. Bute is a braver version of Joe Cal, with a little less stamina but better punch accuracy. Chunky will have him for breakfast.
Look closely at the referee in the 12th of Bute - Pascal and you'll see him yelling at pascal "fight back" :bbb
I expect a Degale closer UD than most would have him winning, but hope for a hell of a fight from Bute. After all he is promising us all his got , and I know the best in him is much more than what we saw against Froch and Pascal.
I'm really excited for this fight! Both fighters seem mentally ready and very confident. That alone should bring us a good bout!
There's always a chance in boxing. I agree though, it "should" be an easy win for Degale, especially since he's on his high horse. Hopefully Bute pulls the HUGE upset here!
When I did my Bute thread the other day and watched the last two rounds again, I noticed that as well, I didn't notice it when I saw on HBO the first time. Pascal likes going around trying to pretend that he was just letting Bute land shots to build towards a rematch, that's a crock of s***.:deal
After Kovalev knocks Pascal out cold this time, Freddie will say the fight was close, he thought Jean edged it.
Bute stated he entered the ring with foot infection and hand injury. Props to the Larouche & Co team!
My prediction? Bute wins controversial decision. Even though I don't care, just to win my bet. I will be ringside.
