Yeah I doubt they'll lose money. Just hope they drop to something vaguely reasonable

People who really want a ticket willing to pay a bit more should call the Manchester people who can provide them along with hotel packages if required.

    David 0844 556 5656 or 07944 519598

In the unlikely event that he has sold out already, ask for Spike's number.

They do charge more than face value but people will get their tickets etc no problem.

Is there some trading standards authority that can stop this from happening? Seriously!

Hearn will say the right things about Touts but in private all he cares about is that the Touts buy tickets for all his events including the less popular.

Heard the same shyte for Groves v Froch 1 and 2.

He says he cannot stop it
He does nothing to stop it

The reality is that he would upset and fall out with major bulk purchasers so happy for the status quo to continue.

Saying that the music industry is even worse.

I managed to get 4 at around 10:40am on the Manchester Arena website (£100 lower tier ones), which fed through to Eventim when it came to pay. Couldn't get a thing when trying direct on Eventim and Ticketmaster. I guess more and more was being released as time went by.

To say you can do nothing about this touting situation is utter bull****.
There is a system that works perfectly and completely takes the touts out of the equation and that is the Glastonbury system.
How it could work here is rather simple.
Say, for instance eventim. To buy tickets for anything they sell, you register and upload a passport-style pic (not just for each event but say your reg lasts two years). In return you get a registration number. So, when you go to buy a ticket you put in your reg number and postcode that immediately brings up the rest of your details, name address etc. When your ticket is sent out, it has your pic on it, meaning you and only you can use it. Therefore, touts cant buy a load to punt online as they are useless because people won't buy them to be turned away at the door on the night.
I'm sure there are tweaks to this system or similar ideas that wouldhave the same impact. So the 'we would love to stop it but can't' line is nonsense. They can if they want, they just won't. Wonder why?

Expect lot's of shirts tucked into jeans, black shoes, cheap gold and shiny mullets stood at the bars in large groups. Honestly MEN is the best boxing arena in the UK.

at glastenbury it works because people don't have an allocated seat, normally at sporting events people buy 4 seats or whatever and sit together with their mates etc. With everyone needing to provide identity it'll be quite hard to sort out. The cost of sorting out the above and policing it will be expensive too.

If people are willing to pay 3/4 times the ticket value to go, touts will always be in business.

Frampton apparently didn't get his tickets either, rumour has it, he only got 2100 tickets, Eddie took the rest.

Most of the tickets were sold in bulk to the regular ticket touts.

Only two hundred were left for general sale at 9am last Friday.

Hearn doesn't care as the same touts buy tickets and lose money on his less popular shows.
