Here's my two penny's worth would love to see your opinion on this.

If I was Peter Fury I would be telling Tyson that the jab is so so key just like it was in the Abraham v Murray Match.

However for me the first three rounds are so so important in this fight.

I would be telling Tyson he needs to start first and push back Wlad for the first three rounds to win them convincgly.

If he can build a lead then Wlad will have to chase the fight and will have to come forward and will then at times put himself in the line of fire.

I am not saying he needs to rush out swinging for the hills, put a high punch output doubling up the jab before pushing wlad round in the clinch.

    Feedback?

Same as you. But id tell him to switch from southpaw and orthodox often. Very high punch volumme, tripling up on the jabs. Just be awkward.

I would love to see Wlad chase the fight. He is 39 years old and declining

There's only two ranges fury wants to be in, extreme long range and close quarters. I'd have fury watching andre ward fights he stays on the outside then rushes I with the head low and gets the clinch. On the outside fury needs to be moving and jabbing and making wlad follow and try and get him to lead. On inside his got to try and sap wlads enjoy and he dirty like ward. As the fight wears on hopefully wlad will get tI red and fury will get onto. Fury can't fight at mid range at all unless he wants to be stretchered out of the ring

sounds about right, i think hes keeping it long early with some success then gets too confident midrounds and loses the rounds there. until peter tells him to get back to fighting from range. i wanna see fury unload a severe body attack on that 39year body.

Yup fury is a good body puncher when he puts it together. I think fury wil be nervous the first few stay out of range and work it out but something tells me he can do it

Using a high guard to get close and avoid getting hit, then work on the inside. Rince repeat. Wlad doesn't punch much to the body and Fury has really long arms, and as such can cover a very large area.

The problem with that is that Fury is way too weak too pull that off at 246 pounds, Wlad will throw him around like a ragdoll in the clinches.

Looks like Fury and his team has focused on making him light and agile to ultilize a lot of movement. Which is probably not a bad plan against an aging champion who's foot speed and jab has regressed, but I do really question if Fury's footwork is good enough to pull something like that off.

He seems to make a lot of mistakes and doesn't have perfect balance, which is no huge problem when fighting flat footed plodders who's 5 inches shorter and has 10 inches shorter range than himself, but against the world's number 1 I can't see him not paying dearly for it.

I'd wish him good luck and be thankful for the pay day I'm getting and then be gracious in defeat.

Wlad likes to dictate the pace and the range. Two game plans. First is let Wlad step forward, initiate the action and you counter him and take advantage of your height and reach. Alternatively, cut off the ring, keep those hands tight and make this a fight on the inside where you are a better and more willing fighter. Either way, you don't allow him to dictate the ring centre, pace and range because then it's a matter of when not how.

I still think if fury gets passed the first4-6 rounds he will pull away on points and win a decision. As we all know already a re- match clause.

He should work Vlad from the get go,don't give him time to think......Take him into the 2nd half of the fight, then work him even harder.......Vlad don't have the engine no more....

I'd tell him to go for it from the first bell, try to smash the granny out of him early doors. Either early KO win or get tfko himself. Shower, beer, home and count the money.

However, I reckon he'll be cautious but get knocked out as soon as he engages. Hope he wins though.

Switch from orthodox to southpaw regularly? Fury is graceless enough fighting orthodox, without the hazard of switching!

Fury needs to keep it messy, giving Wlad as little space as possible, but when possible work and work hard and try and sneak rounds, which I do understand is not really smart considering Wlad is the defacto hometown fighter. But I think it is Fury's one fairly small chance of winning.

    This.

What i would add, is that when coming in Fury has to jab with authority. No flicking jabs, which he is prone to do, and no standing still in front of Wlad whilst in punching range.

Wlad only lets the big shots go when comfortable; when he has established range with jab and when his opponent is stationary in front of him and not looking to counter. Wlad never counters or punches when his opponent punches, so when Fury goes in he has to go in commited. Wlad will then flap and try to clinch. Fury needs to wrestle free and clip him again.

When fighting at long range he needs lots of movement, no standing still in Wlad's range looking for a counter, and when he jabs, jab hard.

For me, Fury will have most success up close. At range is more about getting a breather and confusing Wlad and not letting him settle and get into a rythem. Lots of movement and then commit to the attack. Make Wlad not necessarily fight at a pace that he is not used to, but more fight at a pace that he is not dictating.

Ultimately, as i said earlier, Fury's best success will come up close or when closing the distance. Trying to out box and counter Wlad all night may not work as Wlad is ultra cautious and doesn't over commit on his shots, so if Fury is looking to counter ,Wlad's output will drop and Fury's countering chances will diminish.

I don't think Fury is good enough at any one thing to beat Wlad just by doing that one thing. However, i believe he can fight in various ways and is clever enough to mix these different styles up to possibly cause the upset.
