    How is it an illegal ring? I've never seen a rule regarding "spongy-ness of the ring". Please, show us all the rule and where it can be read.

    Yes but a big ring is not a safety issue, with canvas that soft and deep it isn't hard to turn an ankle.

    5 inches of foam is ridiculous.

    The thread says nothing about how safe it is though (not that we would be in a position to make such comments anyway), it's purely in respect of Tyson not being able to use movement as much to his advantage.

    There's a rule regarding the thickness of the canvas. 5 inch sheets of foam is in breach of the rules.

    Most people agree with Fury. WALDO and his card stacking cronies are up to their usual tricks. Bloody VITLAY will be in there wrapping Fury's hands next with sponge and pillows......unless the room is too hot and VITLAY makes a sharp exit like his glass temperature sensitive brother :lol:

    has it not crossed anyones mind that it may be a double bluff..

    meaning , k2 knew full well that fury would pick it up... giving him 2 advantages , 1 - distracting from the job at hand - even if only slightly...

    and 2 - if it is a bluff, then alloqwing fury to believe he has the upper hand by having k2 worried, which may not be the case at all...

    If fury believes he has the upper hand. Then obviously he does have the upper hand cause its all mind games so fury believes he won the mind games. So Vlad did this with the ring to make fury think he has the upper hand. Increasing his confidence. Good man klitchko, u just gave a dangerous opponent more confidence.
