Wrong... Fury is the first guy over 6'4 to seriously trouble, or beat him. Wlad usually excels against taller boxers, and struggles with smaller pressure fighters.
Wlad can fight taller boxers as long as they are slow as paint drying. But a big guy with speed takes away Wlad's only game plan.

His lack of versatility cost him in this fight. He has always lacked an inside game and just fought the one way since hooking up with Steward. Once his usual game plan failed he seemed lost and unable to adapt to an unanticipated scenario. Had he worked on his inside skills to help him then maybe he could have dragged Fury into a different fight like Lewis did when Vitali was out boxing him. Instead he was left weaponless in a fight he hadn't ever prepared for.
Wlad is a mental midget. He has been ever since Brewster. He just fought guys too intimidated to pressure him or guys too slow to get close. He's terrified of taking any risk to get hit. Once someone neutralized him at range I knew he wouldnt have any answers. I expected Wilder to do this to him because Wilder is a big athletic guy with speed. I gave Fury a chance but didnt commit to picking him.
