That's not to criticise Fury too much either - that just shows how badly Klitschko performed tonight.

Yet again in a night the world was watching HW boxing, it didn't deliver.

Fury's 7 punches to Wlad's 4 punches per round was enough to make him the lineal HW champion. A total disgrace.

Wlad should retire in eternal embarrassment. What a pitiful defence of a world title.

You're criticising both fighters whilst sat behind a computer screen. They earned £15m each and have achieved more in one round than you have in your entire life. Take a break from the internet and re-think your life and what you could have done differently.

It was an abysmal effort from both men.

It was terrible by both men. Fury has horrible balance and footwork but it actually kept Wlad from throwing anything meaningful.

Fury knew what he was doing. Wladimir is a man of low output and has solid defence. Fury thus picked his spots well and kept away from danger. He anticipated Wladimir all too well.

He out-Wladed Wlad tonight. Impressive to a certain extent, but that fight was a PPV in the UK and they didn't even bother to throw punches for the majority of the fight.

Thank God I was privileged to see the Golden Era of Heavyweights....George Foreman could have come out of retirement and won that fight.!!!!

Did anyone really think this was going to be a classic?

Fury won, he won where many others have failed, if that correlates as a bad performance, then i would have been happy to accept that title from a bunch of keyboard warriors.

Fury having those belts around his waist and a sizeable purse in the bank, will i am sure ease his worries of what others think of his fight

I didn't expect it to be a fight for the ages - but at the very least I expected to see some stick-and-move boxing. Some jabs. The occasional power punch. A moment of excitement - even just one.

People complain about previous Wlad fights, but none of them have ever been as poor as that.

No disrespect to Klitschko but i think he should call it a day. He has had a great 10 years but if he cant beat Tyson Fury he is going to get stopped by the younger fighters coming through like Joshua and Parker. Well done to Fury for proving me and many others wrong also.

I thought it was a decent fight to watch - no it wasn't a barn burner but I didn't feel cheated. Wlad's incessant clinching spoilt it slightly and stopped any type of rhythm developing but what's new?

Fury had many doubters - myself included - but emphatically answered all of our questions regarding him tonight in that ring and deserves all the plaudits coming his way. As for the more salty among you, I'd suggest getting a grip - it's a new and hopefully much more exciting era for the heavyweight division and I for one are now very much looking forward to the next couple of years in the glamour division.

Fury, Wilder, Joshua, Parker and even the likes Haye, Jennings and Perez. The future looks bright indeed.

Fury could have done more & pushed for a KO, but you can't blame him...Just like Wilder vs Stiverne he used cautious boxing to become a Champion
