    :patsch:rofl

Wrong again. I had faith on the Irish one all of this time.

Hopefully now the world has faith on him.

Ali had an Irish great grandad, greatness comes from the emerald isle.

    Exactly.

Ali even went to Ireland to embrace his culture.

If you insist on claiming him for Ireland then that's fine, as long as they take rest of their gypsies back too.

Where was he born? Argument settled.

What national anthem was sung? Anyone claiming he isn't English is just foolish. He chooses to fight under the English umbrella for god sake.

Fury is unique one of a kind, I think he almost had the whole arena singing with him. Seriously, great performance, never seen a guy his size move so nimble like that, looked like a white Ali in there. He's a proud Englishman with Irish roots, nothing wrong with that. UK should be proud.

I liked how Fury put Irish fans before British fans thanking them in his victory speech... oh wait.

Fury might just what the heavyweight division needs.
Compare him as a very crude version of the Louisville Lip.
    Very marketable.

As an American and a boxing fan, I say that the entire English-speaking world can feel proud for Tyson Fury.

Congrats to Fury he done the business. Chuffed for him having been a big fan for years. I've pretty much followed him from the get go so it's a fitting end to see him crown his glory. He may even get Vitali out of retirement now.

What makes it the real belt?

The line was broken when Lennox retired. There has been no undisputed champ since. Wilder has every much right to claim to be the real champ as Fury does.

I hate this claiming fighters bull****, especially from the British, they seem to have a real chip on their shoulder when it comes to any fighter wanting to acknowledge their roots and heritage. It's quite bizarre really. Fury is an Irish traveller, Andy Lee is an Irishman regardless of where his parents had to move for ecomomical reasons before his birth, Matthew Macklin considers himself Irish as that's his blood! End of.

It's not enough that Brits claim the likes of Chisora, Ofolabi, etc, they also insist on forcing "britishness" upon fighters who have no allegiance with anything british.

I would like to know how those who believe that your passport should dictate your heritage feel about the fact that 11% of 2012 "Team GB" were not actually born in Britain...
