Lewis has a longer reach than Wlad and is only at a 1' disadvantage against Fury.
Lewis would turn it into a brawl and even from the outside would land his overhand right. Even more so if Fury attempts to fight from a semi southpaw stance.

Lewis had the ability to dig deep and brawl. If a plan is not working, Lewis has the ring IQ to adapt. Lewis' adaptability was one of his best attributes. Lewis would have knocked Fury out.

The difference between Lewis and Wlad is Wlad has only one way to box, Lewis had two. Lewis could pull of a clinic similarly to Wlad but when he was up against it, could up his level, become more aggressive and turn it into a fight. The more younger lion Vitali was out-boxing Lewis but like a true champ, he dug deep and went after Vitali with all guns blazing. This was a classic bout that shows a great fighter turn the tables when they are up against it.

Wlad, as polished a boxer that he is, simply hasn't got a plan b, a fight yourself out of a situation that you're unfamiliar with. It wasn't like Fury was bombing him, he just made him uncomfortable due to taking away his usual game-plan. Wlad was in great shape and was moving terrifically, but didn't back himself at all. Fury on the other hand, clearly not as physically gifted had all the confidence in the world and backed himself to a tee.

Sometimes you have to take risks and Wlad was unwilling to do so. Yes they are HW boxers, but this is boxing, expect to be hit. Fury isn't even the hardest of punchers around, but he just refused to engage. You can have all the physical advantage in the world, which he had over Fury, but if you're mentally not there, then nothing will happen. It showed on the weekend.

never mind his night of shame vs Vitali, the Lewis that went life and death with 6'3" Zagreb grocer Rab Mavrovic would lose to last nights Fury. And of course the Rahman 1 stiff.
