I agree, given what is at stake, I think he will be a lot more bold and assertive in a rematch

I think this is going to really wake him up and we're going to see a different gameplan next time

If he can still implement A more aggressive approach at his age, that is the question

Rematches generally go the same way but if Wlad was to win he'd only lose again to someone else. I feel like his time is up now to be honest.

I do believe the trash-talk did start to get to Wlad. That face-off was a big factor in my opinion, hence that blatant head butt that Wlad tried. Now Fury doesn't really have that trash-talk behind him, the idea of the unknown scares Wlad but they've both had a taste of what's to come.

Fury didn't let Wlad find his distance and Wlad wasn't able to come at Fury in an aggressive nature until the 12th round where Fury was all out of gas. If Wlad does apply more pressure earlier on, he could tire Fury out quicker. Considering both fighters didn't throw that many punches and they were both exhausted at the end due to the wrestling, I reckon we're in for a TKO/KO!

Of course Wlad has a chance in a rematch. Let's not pretend that Fury did something stellar in the ring. He was just had the right amount of size, movement, range, quickness, and awkwardness to keep Wlad from throwing his power punches, which come few and far between anyways from this version of Wlad.

Wlad is smart, and I'm sure that he could study the fight and see all of the openings that he should have taken advantage of, and he won't have anything to lose in the second fight... so he would be much more likely to let his hands go. Which, of course... for a past prime Wlad could spell disaster for himself, but it could also spell disaster for Fury.

Fury had just enough size and speed for Oldman jabngrab wlad. If there is a rematch, Wlad will have to go for broke and fight like his old pre Emanuel steward self. Maybe he can bring Fritz back to instill some of the old magic

Wlad was saving up all his punches for the rematch.

Every punch he didn't throw he now has in the bank for Part Deux.

That was the worst performance I have seen from FURY in recent times, yet still managed to beat Vlad. That should tell you all you need to know about the outcome of the rematch. Fury will batter him into retirement second time around.

I don't think wlad could do any worse and I dont think fury could have did much better.

but fury took away wlads jab which is for the most part his only punch.

Interesting how you think he will clinch his way to a knockout eh. Sad state of affairs when that is said about a fighter. Especially an accomplished former champion.

Fury takes the rematch in a similar fashion, the Klit has been licked and will succumb once again.

Honestly I predicted Fury to win but you have to be pretty delusional to say Wlad has no chance, he still hits like a truck.

Wlad is still top 3 in the division no doubt, he could still regain no 1 spot and he is still an ATG

Wlad hasn't "let his hands go" in a decade. The muscle memory simply isn't there to effectively employ a completely different strategy at the World Championship level. My point is that changing styles at this stage would do far more harm than good.

I think he definitely has a chance...but as others have said - only if he fights more aggressively and is willing to take chances otherwise it will be more of the same.

This is something I don't really understand when fighters are told by their corners you need a KO to win...and this is like round 8..9 or 10 and they carry on plodding till round 12. Its great the times I've seen a fighter though get told this and he goes for broke in a do or die! If Wlad is a bit more like the aggressive pre Steward Wlad he might just score a brutal KO...but we'll see. Fury has already done way way above what I thought he could do at top level last night so.....! That said at this stage I'm not expecting Fury to become an ATG at all...as I don't see that in his character. But he's proved me wrong already so !

A chance yes. I'd see the rematch 40/60 Fury though whereas I thought the first fight was going to be 90/10 in Wlad's favor.

I don't think he should bother with a rematch as he needs to open up to have any chance. Tyson's reach speed and ring smarts are too much for him.

Even if he does win what then?? Retire?? Fight Wilder?? Retire??

    Age has caught him..
