Will rumble on. If the Fury's do not want to give Haye the payday, how about they ask for something in return

Hughie needs to move his career on. Whilst I don't think he is at that level yet, I suspect the Fury's do and want them both to be at the top

How about they tell Haye to fight Hughie and if he wins he gets to fight Tyson?

Will put Hughie in the limelight, he will get a big payday and the opportunity to be seen as world class without having to fight Tyson

Well depending on how you rate Hughie this would either be a great or terrible idea. At the moment I'd go for that latter but we have no idea what Haye has left post surgery and layoff.

I don't like the idea of one fighter's career being tied to another. Hughie is progressing along nicely and is only at English title level at the moment.

The Klitschko brothers used to make opponents sign contracts where you'd have to fight them both in a differing combinations for three fights- I'd like to think the Furys are above that.

Far too risky to fight the calibre of Haye. But Chisora would be a good step up for Hughie.

If Hughie fights Haye and loses but fights well, he will be a well known name and the Tyson v Haye fight would be bitter and huge

If Hughie fights Haye and somehow wins (putting nothing past Peter F - I didn't expect Tyson to win) he will be seen as a title challenger (Wilder) in a fight with lots of publicity and Tyson has unlimited ammo to mock Haye

Didn't like how the Klitchkos held the belts hostage but the Fury's are all about family

He's already been offered a gatekeeper fight against John Fury....let's see if he's man enough to take it!

It's actually a rather good idea.

I like how Haye thinks he can just bypass all the domestic contenders that have sprung up after his three years out and go straight to Fury. Is he a champion emeritus or something?

Do you think the Fury's would ever fight each other if their results left them as the 'last men standing' ? Their roots would suggest that they would

I'd probably say yes if the money was right.

I'd say the opposite. The roots suggest they are happy with 'king of the gypsies' and that fighting within the immediate family circle is a no - no. Nah, they'll be more than happy with Tyson & Hughie holding belts between them - I doubt they'd hold them to ransom Klitshcko esque.

Id say the best route for Hughie would maybe be a look at Chisora, then gauge from there.

and my ten pence worth on the Haye scenario, is that Tyson is flat out refusing the fight is out of principal rather than fear etc.

Lets face facts - Haye majorly stalled Fury's career with his messing around previously.

As for Wilder, well we will see wont we.
