Teper claims having a hand injury.
Helenius facing Franz Rill for the EBU title on the same date Teper fight was supposed to be.

Was really excited about this fight actually, very curious as to where Helenius still is with his skills. Was actually pretty excited about him, he's nothing flashy but is a big guy and definitely has some power and decent combinations. Really bummed his career went down the drain for almost 3 years.

Hoping the Teper fight could have catapulted him back into the rankings as someone people are actually paying attention too since people seem to be fawning over that Teper guy because he knocked out David Price. I didn't see what every one else was seeing however, the guy looks like he's out of shape, is small, and doesn't seem to have much going for him other than maybe having power.

Rill is a decent opponent, but Helenius will win this easily.
It's a pity that Teper is injured.

What a shame. This had all the makings of becoming an exciting clash.

    Hope Teper heals swiftly.

Per the agreement Teper will vacate the title and fight the winner of Helenius vs that German fella. This means Teper vs Helenius is postponed for a few months. Winner of that will then fight Derek Chisora.

Rill ain't a bad fight, and certainly a better baby step back for Helenius.

I trust Teper since he seems to be a man. They can fight later.

    Well......

    Here's the GOOD news.

Helenius will win back his EBU title rather easily.
He'll get a defense or two from Euro level contenders and we'll know then if he's fully healed and if he's committed(fit) in those fights.

It's obvious he wasnt committed in his recent exhibition fight as he drew with a euro-level journeyman IMO.

That said, we should get a Chisora rematch with relative ease now that he's with Sauerland, and that will tell us if Helenius is STILL a relevant contender.

Anything less than a KO or 10-2 type decision and Robbe's lost his R hand.

If he can get past Chisora, then a Teper fight will catapult him into immediate contention.
And judging by his recent activity level, we should know all of this within the next 10 months.
    Dec 2015(Win EBU title)
    March 2016(Euro defense)
    Aug/Sept 2016(Chisora)
    Dec/Jan2016/17 (Teper)
