Yes. The risk vs reward is worth it imo. Good money, winnable fight, good for legacy if he wins and if he loses it's not that big a deal anyway.

    Sure

He'll be considering retirement anyway so why not make several million before you bow out

Its not like hes gonna get hurt against Tyson Feather, and he would knock him out if he managed to overcome his fear

With a bit training big brother could go in and do the job for him. Again

I'm not so sure that Wladimir Klitschko is going to lose the rematch. The recent loss rather rises questions which could be answered by a rematch. Klitschko himself said he didn't possess the necessary speed in the fight. If that is true, a potential reference to his age is there. I personally had the impression that Klitschko wasn't mentally right. And, a much more interesting issue to me: Possibly Klitschko reached a limit of his concept of boxing in that fight. He had opponents about as tall as him in the past, but none was as agile and as fast as Tyson Fury. So that was something new and I want to know if Fury actually is an impossible task for Klitschko.

So, I don't know if I would take a rematch if I were Wladimir Kltischko because I don't know what he thinks. From a sportsman's point of view, I would take the rematch to find out what that loss was about.

I would, I'd never want to go out like that, I'd get my brother to show me how to throw punches again.

I would take it. At the end of the day you have to look at yourself in the mirror and realise that you lost and didn't give of your best. Rather go out on a stretcher if you have to.

Fury is very beatable for Wlad, if Wlad catches a wake-up and lets his hands go.

I still think the fight is his to lose.

Of course you should take the rematch!

There is too much money on the table and finally a fight in which people will actually be interested! It's not like he was hurt and actually trying punches could make a world of difference!

I'll be surprised if Fury is a definitive betting favorite in the rematch, I think it will be under 2 to 1. I would be inclined to bet Wladimir depending on the odds.

Only one problem.....he's 40 years old now. With money in the bank, a wife and a kid. As Marvelous Marvin Hagler once said, it's hard to do 4am roadwork when you're sleeping in silk pajamas.

Plus he'd have to change his boxing style and find motivation somewhere.

Plus he would have to find SOMETHING to win the psychological war pre-fight...hard to do now that Fury is on top of the world.

He can beat Fury....who is very beatable ....but IDK if Wlad is up for it.

The first thing Wladimir needs to do, is get a new trainer.
Jonathan Banks might be the second coming of Eddie Futch(he's not), but Wladimir even walking to the ring on Saturday, looked totally flat, he fought flat, and was flat in his previous fight too.

Somethings not working, and much as Ive never been a Klitschko fan, he's much better than those performances and Tyson Fury.

If wlad is not afraid of getting hit and comes for fury, then he will KO fury in the first 6 rounds. Fury is A very fast figher for his size, not handspeed, but footspeed and upperbody movement. IMO he is not powerful enough to KO wlad, so wlad should go for the knockout (look at the 12th round, fury had problems). But respect to fury for executing the gameplan to A perfect degree. As much AS i dislike wilder, he has A good shot at fury. Povetkin would KO fury IMO. Wlad is still the best fighter, he lost because he is A *****, has A **** corner and no gameplan b

Well said, some just have little or no ideas. He needs to go for the KO in the 1st 6 rounds next time.

I would think real hard if my heart is still in this. Wlad can say "I love what Im doing" all he wants, when I saw him on Saturday he looked seriously disinterested in the fighting game. He showed very little passion, and just let the fight slip away.

No, I would not take the rematch.

His only plan off winning would be fighting on the inside and trying to land bombs. Wladamir has been knocked out before. We all know his chin isn't the greatest. One perfectly timed counter from Fury would have Wladamir reminicing the days he used to fall around the ring acting like a baby giraffe.

Wlad has a soft chin, but lets also not forget Fury is the of the lightest punching lineal HW title holder in the history of the sport. Fury is the only opponent Wlad could risk something without being knocked out with a single punch.

Wlad just needs to let his hands go. He does that, he wins.

Only Sanders destroyed Wlad, and Sanders is a totally different fighter with much better handspeed and power than Fury. Against Brewster and Purrity, Wlad was exhausted from beating on them and got stopped. Wlad's never been KTFO by a single punch either so you're just dead wrong.
