So again, where does this theory come from that when Wlad faces adversity he headbutts or rabbitpunches or elbows? Its one thing to observe a headbutt initiated by Wlad. Its another to argue out "Whenever Wlad faces adversity, he always ..."

If your theory was correct we would have seen more illegal punches in previous Wlad's fights because its not the first time he did face adversity or was in a fight that wasn't going his way.

But then again, look when Tyson bit Holyfield ears or tried to break Botha's arm.

Lennox breaking all the rules when he KO'd Grant while holding his head with left glove (he had similar blatant-foul KO early in his career, too).

Someimes these great HWs break the rules, they're all human, nothing strange about it.

 

I feel the same. People so love to **** on Wlad's gentleman image that they completely go overboard.

He lost, he gave Fury credit, he admitted defeat. Why conjure up fantasies about cheating, fouling, PED-spiked water bottles? What's the point?

 

Well the K bros can't really call someone out on that either considering they've made unsubstantiated claims about Wlad being poisoned in the past.

Sorry IB, Wlad is 10x a sportsman Evander Holyfield is. How could you even argue that.

Tyson - biting, etc

Vlad - holding
I could go on. IN the heat of battle, when FEAR kicks in, people get desperate. It's a tough sport. Refs need to deduct points more rapidly. Vlad got away with this one ...he should have lost a point. A hard butt like that can do a lot of damage. But all in all I don't consider him to be a particularly dirty fighter.

 

Well Evan Fields is as dirty as they come. Lots of people suspect both K bros of steroid abuse too though.

Yeah, that's as blatant of a head butt as you'll ever see. Not surprising though.

In moments of desperation, when fighters are about to lose everything, they're more likely than not to try to find ANY way to win, even if it means crossing the line. Doesn't make it right, but it's understandable.

 

The referee clearly saw that and did nothing. Took a point from Fury, but did nothing about a flying headbutt from Wladimir. Rubbish American referee.
