Because Tyson won, it hasn't been mentioned enough just how biased and woeful Tony Weeks was in favour of Klitschko. After the 20th clinch instigated by Wlad, I gave up on the hope of seeing a fair refereeing performance. Not content with that, Weeks let a Klitschko impersonation of a Billy Goat into the face of Fury go, and then seized the first hint of a chance to punish Fury and docked him a point in the 11th. It was inept at best, corrupt at worst. With a referee doing anything resembling a professional job, Tyson could well get a stoppage in a rematch.
Although the fight wasn't a barnstormer, I do actually think Fury made a go of it but was frustrated by Walds clinching when they got in close.
I agree with what you've said but it should be added that he was regularly warning Fury about his use of Rabbit Punches prior to the point being taken off. It certainly wasn't out of nowhere.
The fight wasn't even a watery fart mate. It was not a fight - few girlie slaps by 2 men scared to throw a punch
Tony Weeks is a disgrace, he was that bad he shouldn't be allowed near the arena if and when a rematch takes place.
The only guy worse was the so-called referee during Ottke vs Reid, who actually warned Reid for landing a punch. Wlad made Henry Akinwande look like Joe Frazier.
