BS. Bumlovkin has competition @ 160 and his name is Danny Jacobs. Now, watch as Bumlovkin pulls another DUCK and avoids Jacobs like the Plague..
The sooner he gets what he wants out of the division and moves up the better. He knows, we know, Alverez knows, Cotto knows, Jacobs knows, everybody knows none of them want to face GGG because they know what happens if they do. I know it would never happen but its that obvious id rather ppl just be honest for once and the top 10 of the division can all argue about who is the 2nd best at the weight. They can convince themselves they can beat the rest but they just cant convince themselves that they beat GGG. But they cant admit it they have to pretend they aint scared, have supreme confidence and reckon they can beat him. GGG needs to be at SuperMiddle as soon as he can. Just think of the fights we can be having. Right now at this weight the result will always be a forgone conclusion.
Will be interesting to see what happens if Jacobs (Haymon) elects to enforce his mando. A purse bid is the likely outcome which would probably be won by uncle Al, possibly putting GGG in the position of either fighting on a PBC card - which probably won't make HBO happy - or vacating which would frustrate his goal of unification.
Quillin Jacobs a real fight. Cotto Canelo a real fight. GG Lemieux mismatch. Foh. The 34 year old needs to fight somebody. His ppv was trash because he doesn't fight anyone.
If the Canelo fight doesn't come off and GGG doesn't move up in weight, then I pity anyone who spends another cent watching him. He's an exceptional boxer, and I agree that there aren't any fights at the weight for him. Unifying titles is a waste of time - become lineal if possible and then move up for some big fights.
