I think Tito might impose his will and outjab Vernon

I was thinking the exact opposite that Forrest wins by decision.

Tito demolishes him inside 6. Forrest is overrated h2h.

If Oscar De La Hoya can out box Tito, then I'm positive that Vernon Forrest could.

If Mayorga can bomb out Forrest, then i'm positive that Tito could.

Forrest never really had the legs needed to navigate around Trinidad while avoiding his precise concussive shots. Forrest might very well outjab and outbox him for a bit, but Trinidad catches up to him and ends matters inside the distance.

    See Trinidad/Blocker

Forest is better than Maurice Blocker IMO but not that much better. He has a little more pop. I don`t necessarily think Tito bombs him out in 2. It may go to the mid rounds.

    Trinidad by knockout.

Flash kd against Tito in 2nd. Then the viper gets snowed in by the 7 th ! Tito beats all the 147 to 160 fighters of today! Ggg and Lara give him trouble tho

It could be either of these tbf. Vernon's a better more athletic boxer than Oscar, but if Tito could try and walkthrough and impose his will he could maybe score the KO.

Then again Mayorga got Vernon fighting angry instead of boxing smart. He's more likely to box smart against Trinidad.

You could also say if Mayorga can do it surely Mosley can but it doesn't always work like that in boxing.

Oscar was quite a bit quicker than Forest and when he chose to he had better movement.

I'm not sure what this means considering DLH had much quicker feet than Forrest, better handspeed, an equal jab, and MOST importantly... a chin.

Tito would've dismantled Forrest. Vern was too stationary, too straight up, and his chin wasn't the best.

    Tito KO 8.

Speaking of some of Forrest's flaws, did you ever think he overcommitted to the right hand at times? That was my biggest pet peeve with him.

Forrest has a better jab and is more explosive with his first punch. DLH moved well enough but he fought in spurts often not punching for long periods.

Ask yourselves why Forrest pitched 2 shut outs to Mosley and DLH never could

Forrest has exactly two performances that you can point to in support of his beating Trinidad.

Trinidad - and i think by knockout very late. But who knows.
