He's a solid fighter and has been preparing for weeks to fight unbeaten southpaw Daouda Sow. He boxed Victor postal who recently stopped lucas mattesye and gave a good account of himself loosing on points also boxed for the European loosing a competitive fight with edis tatli who is a very good tricky fighter. Should be a good fight for Campbell and would be a big statement if he stops Mendy but me personally I'm gunna back Campbell stoppage late on I think he works excellent to the body and will grind him down
I too reckon the odds is good for the stoppage with a body shot which campbell is very good at. Paddy Power have it for campbell 1-6 rounds at 3/1 7-12 at 11/4 £100 each on the above works out better than £200 on the stoppage. I reckon 7-12 is the one as looking at Mendy's record it seems to suggest he is quite durable, never been stop before.
Sow is unbeaten as a pro and boxed for France as a amateur as a lightweight were he got silver at 2008 Beijing Olympics . Nevin was a bantam. But I wasn't getting at how good Sow is I'm saying Mendy has been preparing to box a southpaw for weeks so the fact it's a late opponent won't make alot of difference hel be ready
Just watched it on YouTube. Nevin won clearly but was a decent fight to be honest. But what's your point anyway. Like I said I was stating mendy was preparing to fight a southpaw so hel be well prepared for Luke campbell
Surely you knw by now mate that irish boxers are the best in the world ever ever lol. That is according to them of course.
