She was gassed up by all that **** Dana, Joe, and others were saying.
Dudes letting her hip toss them and all that bull ****, please.
She was hyped and and forgot that get is no fist thrower. She was fighting part-time models for the past 4 years already. All those chicks she beat model for Maxim in the off season.

I said it when Rousey sparred with Vic D, she's got very good offensive boxing but that's the easy part. Boxers eventually learn the defensive side because they have nothing else to defend against. MMA often come up with other solutions like increasing distance, more kicking, using the bigger cage or any sort of grappling. As a judoka it's hard for her to shake it so instead she needs to improve her transition from striking to grappling range.

Holm is a rare case of having the footwork to evade but also the boxing experience to not get flustered when Rousey lands; like she did and big. Most other female MMA are finished there and then with the follow up.

That last part is not true. She's beaten several good contenders, at least for WMMA standards. You simply can't write off someone who was that dominant.

True I was embellishing a bit , but her competition was truly cheery picked for her. No male MMA fighter has ever had the treatment that she got from this company. I applaud her accomplishments but, the way she fought proved that she was getting easy fights and stop really training long ago.

well women's mma is pretty much a joke still. out of her last 5 opponents how many of them actually fight full time? it's crazy how people said ronda was the best female athlete, she couldnt even win a fking gold, serena completely ****s on her as an athlete. she's competing and dominating against girls who have trained and played tennis since they were 4.

People don't seem to understand how special of a year Serena had. To get that close to a calendar grand slam is just incredible. Also puts in to perspective how special of a year Graf had in 1988.

You want a special female athlete for young girls to look up to, then look at Ryoko Tani (Tamura) who won 2 gold, 2 silver and a bronze at the Olympics, and 7 world championships in judo (one after having a child) while having a major positive impact on women in Japan.

This. Her stand up skills will never come close to matching Holly's. Rousey needs to get her hand on Holly and not let go. I don't see Holly winning from the clinch, but that being said Rousey's seems to be destroyed mentally. Holly literally beat any shred of confidence and dignity out of her. No amount of training can fix that.

Dana really wants his top draw Rousey to be champ again, but she's gonna get embarrassed again.

They'll give Rousey a rematch but not Aldo, pathetic.
