It's all over everywhere he's injured his shoulder but it won't come out till after the fight for obvious reasons..
No smoke without fire.. :hi: http://www.skysports.com/joshua-vs-...whyte-says-injury-prevented-anthony-joshua-ko
Excuses, excuses. 'He was out on his feet' - hardly, he was wobbled by taking the best punch a fellow heavyweight could land on him, and then recovered well. Bum.
:deal Couple of days before the fight he was denying any injury when asked on twitter.. Whenever they say "I don't wanna make excuses but.." you know they're about to make an excuse.
He had a shoulder operation after the Minto fight and in interviews leading up to the fight he's spoke of "strengthening up his shoulder" Banks also mentioned his shoulder not being 100%, it wouldn't surprise me as Joshua was there to be finished in that second round.
If you want people to believe you were hindered by a problem you're better off letting your trainer come out with something subtle, let it drift back to the boxing press and then refuse to discuss it in any interview and say you were beaten fair and square, that way at least it look a bit more genuine
The question you have to ask yourself is would you buy a used car off of him? :think No smirk without fire. :hey
When he had Joshua going in the 2nd round! He suddenly stopped throwing punches and I doubt that was down to lack of fitness. Something will have been wrong with his shoulder.
A fight with Joshua is the best money Whyte will see. If he has an excuse why he was KO'd, then all the better for his chance at getting another big check against Joshua. Be prepared to listen to Whyte start running his mouth again. There will always be an excuse, Whyte, has for loosing to Joshua.
He's now having surgery on the shoulder, which answers the original question of "is the shoulder fully healed" ....... yet he told us it was fine and it wouldn't be used as an excuse. On that basis I'd only watch the rematch if Whyte took it for free (maybe camp expenses) but for me he doesn't deserve a second payday now.
Dillian posted a picture on Instagram today of him laid on a hospital bed awaiting his shoulder surgery.
I don't think for a second he would take it for free. But it ain't as bad as it sounds, he'd be fighting for the opportunity IF he beat AJ, that's when big money would arrive. Now away and get a job ..........
