Would Jeff Lacy had beaten Calzaghe in America?

    I thought Lacy was robbed by the judges in that fight. Had it been in the USA he would of got the nod.

    Lacy wouldn't have beaten Calzaghe anywhere.

    The difference in talent was just too wide.

    It would have been a tougher test for joes chin with jeff allowed to get dirty in his hometown, and close on poonts without calzaghe's ref and judges, but lacy was way too limited to beat someone half decent.

    remember this is the jeff who got clowned in the Olympics and stopped by 40somethings. He was a puppet champ.

    jeffs only chance would be a lucky punch in a dirty contest. He hit hard enough to floor joe and keep him down, trouble would be landing enough to do it.

    He would have absolutely obliterated slappy joe in america taking into consideration how close of a seesaw battle it was in England
