I was wrong about Joshua.

LondonRingRules, Ill give him credit now that he has beaten white.

A picture perfect uppercut, nice knockout to his collection over his best opponent so far.

However, he does still have plenty of holes in his game. I don't think he's ready for Fury or Wilder yet

I was one who posted a thread on here saying it was a 50/50 fight and would likely be a WAR. I really thought Whyte could win. In a way I had a point, but I have to say, Joshua showed his class against Whyte. I think he beats him every time.

SIZE was a big factor in this fight, I feel. Whyte was just not physically big enough to dominate for long.

AJ belongs in the top tier of the division. Well fought.

And what exactly has Wilder proved that he's ready for Joshua?

By going life and death with Molina and Duhapass?

Fair play man, nice to see people do that on here.

He definitely has holes in his game but I guess he's still learning and that's what these sort of fights are for. Was good to see him get hit and overcome being hurt, better that happens now rather than when he's in at world title level. Needs to pace himself aswell, I counted and he threw about 160 punches in the first 2 rounds, loading up on all of them aswell, that's just stupid for a guy his size IMO.

In what way? In the way that any heavyweight has a puncher's chance against any other heavyweight?

You said it was a 50/50 fight and you were wrong. I pointed this out to you.

As I said on the other thread, if it's a 50/50 fight then why is Dillian Whyte an 8/1 underdog?

If you actually believed that it was a 50/50 fight then you'd have put some money on that. But you didn't because you were talking nonsense.

I'm glad that AJ got hit and hurt this time. The other 14 times he just walked over his opponent, without receiving anything back. Whyte was not a punching bag and dragged Joshua into a fight.
Joshua showed he can fight and win boxing rounds. He still has to improve to become a title contender, but fights like this make a man out of him.

What I found hilarious watching the fight was the difference in the look on Joshua's face in the first and second rounds.

First round: smiling, tongue out, goading.

Second round: pale face, horror, mouth open. A look he hasn't had on his face since he was knocked out by a fat little Romanian in the amateurs.

    Great post Kiwi.

Whyte can fight, even when outsized and rocked in 1st rd he hurt AJ in 2nd. AJ did what he had to, which is adapt and loosen up past the 3rd, then let the KO come. He was hurt tho, esp. to the body end of 2nd.

He's a way off Fury, Wlad & Povetkin, but should consistently fight top 15 guys from here out until he's ready, maybe 18 months from now if he fights regular.

Do you clowns know what "going life and death" means?

Taking one punch while you re-arrange a guy's face and win every round ain't it.

The thing that makes you stupid isn't that you have suspicions about AJ, it's that you clearly must think everyone else is clean
