Joshua v Whyte apparently did 400k ppv

I really doubt it, that would make it one of the biggest PPV's going.

 

Impossible. He only got 360k when it was on normal sky the fight before

I thought that was the number I heard for Fury-Klit or slightly higher(450).If this number is true it is a goldmine that Hearn has in his promotional stable-and good luck ever seeing AJ on regular Sky network.

 

Ya if this is true the only thing Hearn is think is that he was an idiot not to make Joshua cornish ppv

Dillian Whyte sold this fight the boring AJ & Cornish didn't even sell out the O2 never mind PPV

 

Eddie Hearn suggests Joshua is now going to be PPV all the time. The thing to remember, this fight was built up by Joshua and Whyte's amatuer contest, a local rivalry and also their hatred for each other. The public bought into this and it captured the imagination of the casuals and beyond.

I am not sure if they just put Joshua in with someone the European scene half as many people will be ineterested. They probably won't even hear about it.

Joshua should not be PPV. Joke!

 

Joshua will struggle to be successful as a PPV fighter unles he's matched against boxers that can build a fight like Dillian Whyte did.

Tyson Fury, David Haye, Dillian Whyte, Deontay Wilder, Wladmir Klitschko possibly Joseph Parker are the only obvious acceptable PPV

 

All PPVs do better numbers than normal SS1 fights - which Joshua aside rate terribly - they get a hell of a lot build up across the Sky Sports platforms which raises interest.

 

Joshua's new Matchroom contract dictates that every fight will now be PPV. They can't pay him enough without it.

 

When did Lennox Lewis make the switch from normal Sky to PPV? Around 30 fights into his career?

 

How much is AJ on per fight then?
