Public view has always been quite negative to Helenius boxing ability and nothing has changed during his break. IMO he would KO Wilder and would be very tough fight for Fury. Neither are very technical. Wilder would have speed advantage but Helenius chin is ten times better. Fury might outland him but Fury has no power to KO Helenius. I don´t know about Joshua. He might be the real deal.
So just how bad was the Musafarov fight? Was he handled comprehensibly, hurt...? Haven't seen it for myself, and can't imagine it's a good enough fight to watch/slog through...
Musarov fight was sparring with 16oz gloves. nothing to do with real fight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrHFSVRr6Ew
Musafarov should've gotten the nod. Wasn't a terrible watch, actually. Helenius fought as though underwater.
A fight against Joshua would come at the right time for Helenius. Joshua is still only a baby. He looked pretty bad in his latest victory - raw and uncontrolled while attacking. The Finn is a much better boxer than he is getting credit for. He moves well, he has an excellent left jab and when the right hand connects it is goodnight for the owner of the chin.
Raw and uncontrolled? Maybe in the couple of rounds Whyte came on, but after that did he not settle down and dissect Whyte en route to a decisive stoppage victory? :think
Helenius was fighting with a severely injured shoulder that literally almost ended his career, not to mention a broken wrist. His shoulder muscles were actually dead and had to be completely replaced in places. That was not representative of Helenius.
Silly, healthy Helenius will KO Chisora easily. Even one armed Helenius did fight very even and yes i think Chisora won small marginal.
Pre injury Helenius should have been on Joshua's ped cycle. A couple of stones of extra lean muscle would have got him through Chisora.
