Im curious to know any examples of a fighter who gives one of their best performances but ends up losing or getting a draw by way of robbery. I'm not talking about close fights that could have gone either way, but a dominating showing where it was plain obvious that fighter should have won.

Whitaker vs Chavez is an obvious answer.

I thought Luis Rodriguez fought such a brilliant fight against Emile Griffith in their 4th go-around. Could not believe they gave that fight to Griffith. One of Rodriguez' best.

I would have to disagree with the Lockridge choice. Gomez was by then a puffy, overweight, slow, ineffectual has-been who never should have made it past ten. Lockridge started well and had Gomez in trouble and ready to go, then let up and somehow let the aged, bloated once-great right back into it. Inexcusable.

He still deserved the decision, but Lockridge was far from impressive.

i watched whitaker ramirez quite recently and it's not the robbery i thought it was before, whitaker won but he could have done more imo.

Lara couldn’t miss Williams with his left hand. Still not sure how that decision went the way it did
