Fair enough. He's been through the wars amd he's given us a few memorable fights. The performance against Broner will always hold a special place in my heart. Gave Floyd a good fight too but I can't believe people are still lying to themselves and saying he won first time round. I'm not the biggest Floyd fan but he clearly earned the decision. Anyway, Chino's fights against Kotelnik, Ortiz, Soto Karass and Khan, among others, will live long in the memory.
He's fat, rich and happy. Probably got some nice endorsement deals as well. He's a smart guy to leave the sport when he has everything.
Maidana was a bad match up for Floyd. In the second Floyd fight, he gave as good as he got. Floys could never catch him with his usual sneaky punches as he does with 99% of his foes.
he won 5 rounds in the first fight against Mayweather a feature only one other person accomplished (Castillo) enjoy your retirement Chino!
Never beat anyone of note. Landed his best punches on Khan, without even a single knockdown. Maidana is a bum.
Surely he had one more battle in him..would love to see him vs golovkin. ..he coukd make 160 no problem
