I think so. He was never in undue trouble with either RJJ at LHW or Toney at CW. He was very hard to hit clean and had a truly strong chin.

He had a great chin and solid defensive mechanisms. Most likely he could last 15 rounds but there would be no doubt about the winner of such a contest.

If he wanted to win, he would have to risk a KO loss. Moore, in his day, could KO pretty much anybody. He had heavyweight power and an instinct for finishing fights.

He could survive. I don't think he'd win though.

Prime McCallum could win, it's just trying to match them at a weight that suits both because McCallum is past his best at 175, maybe 160 next day weigh in?

Fighting at MW Mike easily has enough to beat Moore. Moore lost a lot of fights although to very good opposition usually defeating them in return.

At MW it's a very even match up.

McCallum could do it all, I've no doubt he's going the distance with Moore

By my reckoning the following scored unavenged victories over Moore

    Ali
    Patterson
    Marciano
    Charles
    Burley
    Booker
    Wade
    Yarosz

McCallum would certainly not look out of place on that list.
