Bitter how? Carl Frampton is a British national and proud of it. He has an All Ireland fanbase as well as a British fanbase. Geographically Carl is Irish though if you want to cling onto that ma chara.

    Haha, no, no he's not.

Where does Ormond live in Ireland?

Ireland are so proud of their boxers that the Andy Lee fight was cancelled in Limerick due to poor ticket sales.

    Joke country.

None of those bar Frampton are at world level. And he's British :rofl:patsch

Why don't you try and claim Canelo too? He's got ginger hair and I think his Grandma's sister once visited Ireland.

Or Golovkin? I saw him drinking a pint of Guiness once which I think qualifies someone to be Irish nowadays.

Tommy McCarthy was born in London, and lives in Belfast.
    Belfast is in Northern Ireland.
Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom.
    You're welcome. :D

Paddy Barnes is from Northern Ireland. (Although, I'm aware boxers from Northern Ireland are able to represent the Irish Republic.)

Ryan Burnett could very well make it to world level, and would possibly beat Haskins for the IBF Bantamweight title. But, he too, is from Northern Ireland.

Carl Frampton is from Northern Ireland also. He is the only one in your list currently operating at world class level.

You also listed Irish boxer Joe Ward twice, in a vain attempt to fortify your faltering viewpoint. :patsch

However, there is a good chance Jason Quigley and John Joe Nevin will make it to world level and become world champions. But, since Quigley's division is the deeper at world level, it will ultimately be more difficult for him than for Nevin.

    That is all.

firstly boxers from the north of Ireland don't box for the republic of Ireland, they box for 32 county Ireland. Second point, ask Burnett, McCarthy, conlan and Barnes who are all from republican areas of Belfast their nationality and they will tell you their Irish. Thirdly these boxers owe their successes not only to their Belfast clubs but also to the high performance program in Dublin. Do yourself a favour and think about what you're posting as you're coming a cross like a bit of a tool.
