Given the farcial mis-management of his first-and-only title defence, will Andy chuck Booth?
    Or just retire altogether?

people always blame the trainer if Lee had lost under someone else people would be saying he needs to hire Booth

Lee didn't throw the left hand until round 12 because he was afraid of what was coming back. He needed to pressure Saunders to tire him down the stretch which true to form he did, but not early enough or to the degree Lee needed. Andy Lee tightened up in that fight, it would be hard to get a trainer to coax that mindset out of a fighter mid fight.

Maybe Lee needs a Roach type trainer, someone who will focus more on his power, but I couldn't blame that loss on Booth. I just think Lee froze / tightened up.

Lee is a counterpuncher. Saunders didn't leave any gaps so Lee didn't throw.

No. Lee can still play a part as a fringe world level Middleweight: he should just accept he wasn't good enough against BJS on the night.

Team andy has got a few questions to answer.
what in gods name was a champion doing going to the challengers country, fighting on a ****** bill against a ****** fighter, with 3 english judges!!

Thats page 1 stuff in the 'pro boxing manual' in fairness! Brainless!

Andy has been gushing praise for Booth, almost like a cult-member, everytime he sees a microphone. How smart Booth is, how great Booth is, the 'best trainer in the world', blah blah

Also why - after about the 6th didnt Andy go all-out for a ko?
He was the one who always said:
"I have never lost on points and I never will - If i think Im behind i will go all-out!". Remember that Andy?

I suppose it would be too much to ask that they would have had the sense to put in an airtight Rematch Clause????

Ive always said Booth is over rated as a coach people talk about Haye Vs Valuev tactics and Groves V Degale but no one mentions him when he gets it wrong.. groves V anderson. Haye vs Wlad. Andy lee V BJS. Imo Booth believes CEJ is his best middleweight. If i was Lee id get rid

Neither Booth or Lee had any answer to combat Billy Joe.One or the other have to go their separate ways.
