    news flash youtube generation...hes not the same guy in the videos you watched last week when trying to figure out who he is.....or was.
    its been 17 years since hes been punched or thrown a punch in the ring. Dustin Nichols beats him at this point

    Yeah, me too. What a damn shame! If he can't box I hope he doesn't go nuts again and hurt another woman or anyone for that matter.

    Nah not overrated.
    I always thought at his best he reminded me of a larger version of Holyfield.
    He could have beaten Tyson, Lewis and Bowe in the 90's when on form.
    He might have lost to them too, but had he fought, and beaten them no one would have been surprised much.

    Did he have the discipline and working mindset it takes to be a dominant champion? I doubt it.

    I think people forget how important that is in regards to constancy and longevity. You can have all of the skill in the world, but if the drive isn't there you're not going to stay on top for long. For me that's what separates the greats from everyone else, they have BOTH.

    a 40something is only in the ring because he cant get a job anywhere else.

    Hopkins, and the absolute cream of boxing, are the only exceptions to this rule.
