    Thanks McGuinty, and everyone else who has contributed to this thread, Really interested in peoples thoughts on this and who is a genuine world champion and can defend the title/titles

    Agreed mate, very tough and Santa Cruz obviously the biggest test but feel after fights with the likes of russell jnr etc he would beat him, still young hungry and talented

    With the way the current champions are being matched (L.Smith - J.Kelly) (K.Brook - J.Dan) those are just two I can think of the top of my head, then I see quite a few fighters keeping they're titles.. However, of the current crop, the ones I see making major impacts in the they're respective divisions, I'd say the following

    McDonnel - already had WBA / IBF and beat Kameda twice - real force at the weight can dominate.

    Selby - continues to improve, time on his side. Future p4p

    Saunders - stay away from ggg and he's there as long as he wants.

    Degale - can unify SMW , poor division with aging champions

    Flanagan , Haskins , Crolla , all need matching carefully

    Quigg -Frampton winner will further clean up.
