Werdum by domination. The only thing that will happen to Cain is that he will get a bigger beating because he's back down at sea-level. Werdum is too well rounded for him. Cain/Stipe & Werdum/Reem, please!
Werdum wins again imo. Cain has always been overrated imo. People used to **** on that he was the heavy goat. Get the fark outa here.
loses one fight and is overrated lol. Is this the boxing forum? Was he overrated after JDS 1 too? I wonder how many picked him to get slaughtered in that rematch. Ronda is overrated. Reem is overrated then not then again. Wlad Klitschko will get demolished by McFurry in the rematch. Fight fans are getting weirder and weirder
I wouldn't say he's overrated, but his skill set is. All he does is grind people down. There's no finesse to his game. You take that away from him like Werdum did and he's done. Also, I've NEVER seen an elite HW so vulnerable within the first 30 seconds of every fight. His head movement is abysmal and the shot that JDS sparked him with is one that he is massively vulnerable to.
JDS tko'd Cain with one punch and Werdum owned him. Cain has 2 dominate wins over JDS and thats it, his whole career to date. Injured all the time hardly ever fights yet idiots like Joe Rogan were going on and on and on that he is the goat. As I mention he was/is overrated.
2 brutally dominant wins over prime JDS is huge. And the one time he lost he was caught by a hail mary ala Lewis Rahman The loss to Werdum could have a large part due to the long long lay off, and the altitude. We shall see Infuriating as it is, Rogan's just toeing the company line. They want the GOAT HW to be anyone but Fedor
Poor logic. Cain is open to it. He there it. It landed. Cain went to sleep. Look at Cain when he starts - he does p*ss poor bobbing & weaving and is very open to that right hand.
If Cain's striking isn't good enough to threaten and he seems too tentative to enforce his wrestling then what?! Too many BJJ allow themselves to be controlled without constantly threatening every single limb, position and moment. Werdum seemingly instills fear in them quickly and now that he's improved his boxing he's hard to beat. Ultimately, I think you need to match Werdum's confidence in striking and grappling and out-athlete him. He's big but his speed, agility, reflexes, engine etc do not impress. Cain isn't exactly Roy Jones Jr in his prime but he's got the engine and the tenacity. As Rashad's mother would say 'he must enforce his will on him'!
