Most on here just babble nonsense, if people think povetkin can hang with DW they are mentally challenged. That's a mismatch, you'll all see in 5/6 months, then it will be some one else that will shatter DW, this will go on until he finally loses, years from now
Immigration at USA Border: "What is your reason for visiting the United States Mr Povetkin"? Povetkin: "I am sight seeing sir, visiting Brooklyn, watching windmills".
If Wilder ever let a guy like Povetkin who basically got beat up a CW beat him, then he was a fraud all all along.
I'm actually a bit afraid of this (substituting Glazkov for Martin). It's within the rules of WBC to preempt mandatories for unification bouts, which normally is good policy. It would be a joke in this situation, though. With the division in flux, he needs to fight his mandatory. The winner can then unify with the IBF champ, setting the stage for a massive unification against Fury or Wlad. That would be ideal.
If Glazkov wins maybe Haymon can cook something up with Main Events and have it on same card as Kov-Stevenson. 1 thing I know, they don't wanna face Povetkin, he's having his 3rd voluntary FFS.
if team povetkin bid on povetkin v wilder and win i beleive that team wilder will not agree to go to russia. i hope not povetkin v wilder would be a good fight and we would learn a lot about wilder.
