Who is the best fighter Parker has fought ?

 

That's probably debatable but Kali Meehan and Bowie Tupou probably the most dangerous so far.

 

A good interview by NZ radio (Radiolive) to Stuart Duncan (Parkers matchmaker) has given fans a bit of a guess on who they are targeting in April or July.

(I can't yet post links but a goodle search using keywords: stu duncan parker radiolive not easy)

Many people thought it possibly will be Ustinov, but with current ranking as they are, Ustinov has dropped out of the alphabets to a point that Duncan said, there is no incentive to fight Ustinov without ranking gains. This means, many people are picking Carlos Takam as being either April or July's opponent.

A good step up in competition, and a path towards a IBF eliminator fight.

 

People on here hoping anyone is comparable with Tua in 16 have very low expectations. I understand Tua had a very good chin but that's all he had. Talk about lack of drive, it's possible both tua and ike ruined each other.

Ike beating Byrd after meant nothing, Byrd was never any good at hw, and that was back when LL was the only true big hw that had IT..

Holy had it until he started having injuries from too much roiding, building up to 217 of pure muscle bound creature took its tole on him..

Tua wouldn't even be competitive unless he scored fights against povetkin , fury (chance) or those 2 small hw fighting for a vacant strap this month. Just too small with way to little reach

 

Tua was indeed a disappointment

His heart seemed not to be in it

Joseph Parker is a very different man, it seems. And we hope he can go all the way.

 

Too early to tell, until he comes through adversity then we can comment, as he has had everything his own way against taxi drivers and/or aged fighters.

Seriously though As someone asked earlier, who has he actually fought who is decent.

 

2016 will be the start of the "decent" top-10 opponents.

Tupou and Meehan were both good fighters - but JP walked through them.

His chin was very good but his left hook was an atg. So no he didn't just have a chin.

 

Parker will destroy everything in his path just as he has already done.

 

I am actually quite confused over why Joshua is being rated so much higher than Parker by so many 'so called' experts. I rate Parker slightly higher.

 

Yep and he's also 3 years younger so you would think he has more improvement left in him than Joshua.

 

This guy is almost as overrated as Femi. Old bum and stiff carousel, still to face one live dog.
