I used to think Wlad may be underrated in fantasy H2H matchups against his brother. Vitali's style leaves him open to very tall, reachy hw's with speed and power. Wlad could definitely get to him. After the Fury fight, though, I've lost any doubt. As open as Vitali would be he'd just take it, counter, throw more, make Wlad uncomfortable and eventually stop him
But Fury uses lateral movement, much harder to adapt to. Wlad-Vitali would be jab and grab, and wlad wouldn't have as much trouble in timing and catching vitali with his right than he did with Fury.
Head to head I would favour Vitali to beat Wlad 7/8 times out of time - and most likely within the distance - but I will always rate Wlad higher in my all time heavyweight list because he achieved so much more and had a far stronger resume.
