Skill can overcome the weights etc.. not in general.. but Khan was also 135 very young.. He's been weight drained his entire career.. He's not perfect.. but he's not that far from it either.. Khan has been a welterweight all this time..
Really four fights in three years you could have fooled me The bigger the opposition the more reluctant he is to fight it seems
When Khan put's everything together, he's a very difficult man to beat. But he for everything he does right, he also does a lot wrong! He jumps in and lets his hands go, but can then hang around too long on the inside and get caught. His inside game also leaves a lot to be desired. When he gets buzzed, he tries to have a fire fight to 'prove' he has a chin. He also squares up a lot. Hunter seems to be ironing out a few flaws with his boxing brain, that he needed! But he's not been active enough, he needs to be out more and get involved in bigger fights than he has been doing.
Khan peaked under roach its all dowhill from here for me. Khan was becoming a good fighter or more a hard fighter to deal with due to his speed and athletism. It made up his shortcomings. Up until the garcia fight he was looking like he could go on to big things. He was suckered by garcia tho with no one to blame but himself. Nothing to do with freddie roach. First he was goaded by garcias dad into a fight second he was told numerous times by roach to stop throwing 4s and 5s instead 2s and 3s and get out of there. He seen that counter punch coming like a lot of people did. Under roach he was able to use his athletism to win him fights against some good guys. Should have stuck with roach imo. I dont see the improvements under hunter. I see what hes trying to do with him but with khan the more he thinks the worse he seems to get add to that his speed and athletism is only going to slow down. Hes pretty much missed out his peak years missing big oppertunities. i think deep down khan knows boxing at the top levels a bit too much for him. Took his licks against peterson. Garcia. Diaz. Maidana etc add to that tough sparring in the wild card gym and think hes been sickened off the game a bit. fighting guys that wont stick it on him or looking for that pension pot fight. I think the hearts been knocked out of him tbh. Very good fighter khan due to his athletism and speed but he just cant ghink for himself in there at the top level. No shame in that really
1. One of the most atrocious fragile Glass Jaws in boxing history 2. Has no plan B in fights 3. No ring intelligence, no defence, no power. 4. Trinkt belt holder in a single division, has never been the champion in any division he's been in. 5. Forced out of two divisions due to two SAVAGE ko losses 6. Didn't rematch any of his losses, including the ones by KO 7. Has flat out DUCKED his biggest domestic rival Kell Brook 8. Believes he deserves a fight with PBF or Pac despite: Not being in the top 5 in his division, not having fought any of the top guys in the division, not holding a belt in the division. 9. Has consistantly fought handpicked, featherfisted opposition with low KO percentages. 10. Claims he won't fight guys ranked higher than him because they haven't beat the 'prime' big named fighters that he has (Judah, Barrera, probably Mosley next).
Muhammad is from the same line of Adam.. Abraham.. Moses.. Jesus.. Abraham might have been a curly black haired (the curly hair gene) but.. Did the Arabic Allah really speak to Abraham? That's the kicker.. what would have the Arabic Allah said to the curly haired Abraham?
