BJS is never worth anything more than $200k in the first place.

 

He's not getting a million a fight each unless it's against good level opponents and he'll still be risking losses. Moreover, it's not like he will cease to exist as a boxer, he'll be able to add onto his 3.2 million afterwards, perhaps even gain in popularity if he's able to give a good account of himself in the fight.

Now of course you can say that he can just fight GGG afterwards but who's to say GGG will be an option after 3-4 fights. I think it was a silly thing to do if money is what you are after, I'd have just taken this.
