    Froch and Kessler were at one time, around the time ward fought them, top 10 p4p guys ......Dawson at one point was near there


    Ggg hasn't fought a guy who would have ever cracked a top 40 list and he's older than ward....lol

    Its funny for people to say ward hasn't done anything in 5 years .....ok.....so it's been 5 years since ward has done anything noteworthy and he's still done more than the guy u slurp ....and he's still younger .......hmmm

    You're right it doesn't, then why did you have the obsessive compulsion to bring his name up, its seems it's you who can't keep GGG's name from coming out of your mouth.

    Barrera is a very solid challenger who is taller than Ward, physically far bigger than Ward, with a longer reach than Ward, and is in a division in which Ward has yet to compete as a pro, is incredibly skilled with a very good jab, and is very heavy handed with almost as many KO's as Ward with half as many matches, if you think Barrera doesn't have a chance here it is you who knows NOTHING about "baaxing". Not sure what the idiotic spelling is supposed to get at.

    Indeed he has a good chance, but I think his defense will be his downfall. Ward will land all day on him.

    Yeah his defense is a little porous, but not all that bad either, if anything that may be his downfall, but Barrera is also one of the more technically gifted non drained fighters Ward has fought in quite some time, and will be able to land with far more accuracy than most of Ward's recent opposition, and I'm not sure how well Ward's whiskers will fare at LHW against a guy who just dropped and stopped Murat who to my knowledge had never even been down as a pro.

    It is very tough to land on Ward, and to land cleanly to make it count. Ward will be challenged, but I expect his class to show and to be above that of Barrera and win a UD.

    I'm far from Ward's biggest fan, but I don't begrudge him a warm up to get the rust off. Only with warm up might knock him the **** out too. This is a damn good opponent.

    No, I like Barrera and would like to see him develop more before being thrown in with the sport's #1 professional. I just don't think Barrera is anywhere ready for Ward's level, even with this being Ward's intro into LHW. :yep
