Maciej Sulęcki is a 6'1 26 year old Middleweight with a 21-0 6 KO's record. Born in and fighting out of Warsaw, Poland. He got his start at the young age of 11 and as an amateur racked up 110 wins to 30 losses. Maciej is easily the best Middleweight in Poland which he set in stone by stopping Proksa in the 7th round, and now he's looking to be a breakout start in the USA he sighed with Al Haymon in early 2015 and has been appearing on various off TV undercards for is PBC shows. Don't be deceived by the low KO ratio, most of his early fights were 6 rounds or less, and he dropped many opponents in the matches that went the distance, but as his matches have gotten longer his KO percentage is on the rise. That and the fact that he's trying a little harder for the KO as well blow two of his opponents out in 3 rounds or less in 2015. He punches in combination well, has a sneaky power in his left hook and straight right, decent footwork, fast hands, cuts off the ring fairly well, and is solid all around. So Check Out Maciej In Action he may be on US TV screens sooner rather than later. Not sure what Striczu means but that's his nickname. He's pretty tall for a MW and a mean looking SOB too. Here's The Polish Hammer.:ggg:ggg:ggg:ggg

Proksa was waaay past it when they met, Sulecki is still pretty much untested. He changed everything (pretty much like Szpilka), went to US, but stili awaits huge fight. He wants to fight Truax and it may happen in the first half of 2016. I'd love to see that 'cause I still don't know what to think about Sulecki. His #19 rank in the world by boxrec seems waaay exaggerated at this point.

For some reason he refers to himself as Maciej Sulęckiego, which must be his actual name, but not sure why he doesn't go by that, maybe a Polish poster can fill us in.

Sulęckiego is using his last name when someone is talking about something of Maciej Sulęcki's

example: To jest samochód Macieja Sulęckiego ( This is Maciej Sulęcki's car) :good

if he's using it in a sentence, he's talking about himself in 3rd person

Never heard of him, but I have been out of touch with boxing lately. He looks promising & glad to know I have another Polish fighter to keep an eye on.

Thanks for bringing him to my attention.:good

Thanks. :good I've had my eye on him for awhile unfortunately there's never been quite enough footage on him to do a decent thread, but that changed a little in the past year.

Yeah I was going to use that to bump the thread a little closer to the card, he's facing Findley, the same guy that KO'd fellow Pole Fonfara a few years ago, Findley is still a tough test and will bring it, if Sulecki can KO him I'll be very impressed.

He's only been stopped twice once by Dirrell and the other time by La Bomba Rodriguez all the way up at LHW.

This will be a tough test. Findley looks solid as a rock. And I forgot that he KO'ed Fonfara a few yrs back. Probably even saw that fight, I think.

Sulecki takes on Findley tomorrow on the Wilder-Martin undercard, unfortunately its looking like it won't make TV since they're replaying Wilder/Stiverne instead of a ShoBox card.:-(
