He just fought Lemieux who had a world title. Other than that he had Murray, Macklin, and Geale. They were sturdy competitors, even if they weren't world shakers. I wouldn't say that everybody GGG fights is a can. I would say that everyone Wilder fights is a can. GGG is more like Wladimir Klitschko. He fights the guys that will fight him and some of them are pretty good, but he's just so much better that they look untalented. But meanwhile Povetkin, Chagaev, Haye, Thompson, and Peter were good scalps.

 

One knockout doesn't sell me on the idea that a guy has a china chin or isn't a threat to anyone. Floyd Patterson got knocked down and out a lot. Lennox Lewis got knocked out by McCall and Rahman.
