Arreola's a good shout. Would've been a good shout for his comeback fight. He'll come to fight, go a few rounds then get put away.
Someone like Wach. All the superfights (Wilder, Joshua, Fury) are against tall fighters. Wach is tall, has a decent chin so might go a few rounds, whilst offering little risk. Also just lost to Povetkin so if Haye does a better job, he's right in the mix.
a Charles Martin matchup is definetelly the best way to go. A tough one to make but maybe Haye could come up with enough money to entice Martin. Wilder, Fury, Klitschko, Povetkin, Joshua, Chagaev seem off the table for the first semester. Other than Martin, Bellew is the most profitable fight. Pulev and Parker make sense and would generate quite a bit of interest.
He'd kill Bellew ... maybe literally. Not a responsible fight to make. There are no other British Fighters to test Haye. Joshua would be a good fight but that won't be made until the narrative is right. Build both the older man and the young champ. Ideally they'll go separate routes to a world strap and then meet in late 2017 - "battle of the generations" or something. It would warm the ****les of this cynical old soul if the marketing for that fight was done with humour and respect rather than trash talking, but I can dream.
It's a bloody SHELLFISH! Maybe the censors should learn to use a spacebar. It's that big long button at the bottom of the keyboard, guys.
No way he gets near Hughie, I'm sure that the Fury's have already stated they wouldn't entertain David Haye after he pulled out twice against Tyson.
How about Teper? good realistic test and Im sure Hayemaker could find an obliging international board,Malta or Luxembourg again perhaps . Contraversial perhaps but certainly credible opponent next
Isn't Teper banned for drugs of some sort? Think he would need to wait for the ban to be up and it wouldn't matter what board they tried to use he wouldn't get licensed!
I think hes banned by the EBU and BDB (german board) for 2 years ,I cant remember if Chisora was banned or suspended when he fought Haye ,anyone know?
Haye an Chisora were suspended by the BBBoC but I'm pretty sure that doping bans are across the board throughout all the Licensing Boards . Anybody willing to use a banned boxer would have no credibility at all. The Luxembourg thing was just a way to get the fight made but it didn't really affect the Luxembourg Governing Body as it was just 2 boxers applying for licenses.
