In terms of pure ability, not necessarily ranking.

    I think so.

Bermane Stiverne is about the level of Derrick Rossy or Ray Austin. Bermane was kinda like Charles Martin, a decent HW at the right place at the right time to pick up an easy paper belt.

Stiverne and Martin might be the two worst heavyweight "champions" in recent memory.

I rate Stiverne higher (and Martin and Glazkov to be fair)

Szpilka only lasted longer than expected because he's a southpaw

Stiverne was picked to fight for the WBC title because the biased WBC wanted an easy fight for Chris Arreola to become the first Mexican Heavyweight Champion.

Bermane was getting outboxed by an old, fat , slow Ray Austin until he got a late come from behind KO. Then some how he gets a vacant title shot. Bermane just inst very good.

Stiverne had solid amateur career. However he can't handle a jab and was in bad shape for Wilder. Also seems to have lost interest since as he was exposed again, against Rossy. Being that he was a top 10 ranked fighter at time of his match with Wilder, I'll stick with him. The only top 10 fighter Wilder has fought in. 36 bouts and 3 title defenses. Pretty crazy.
    Then Szpilka

Martin hasn't proven worthy of holding a title but I'll refrain on calling him the worst til we see what he can do

If he fights a tough first defense and wins he can shake the label

Teper of all people beat Duhaupas.

Are you really not convinced that Szpilka would beat Charr? Or kayo Rosberg? Or that Duhaupas would lose to Jennings?

No, Stiverne was better at the time of their fight.

Szpilka and Malik Scott are at about the same level.

Duhaupas and Molina are the next step down.

Szpilka's ability is that of a bar brawler or football hooligan.
