Now he's comparing Haye's comeback to foreman and tysons comebacks, I'd expect that from someone like Charlie Webster but not Dempsey

My apologies, I misread you. So 12,000 were given away then? Funny, you'd have thought the boxing press would have picked up on that. You know, former heavyweight star having to give away 12,000 tickets. I'll have a look on Twitter. No doubt loads of people will be on about how they got to see the fight for free. Thanks for the insight.

You could get 6 tickets together in most blocks two days before the fight ffs, if you think it legit did that numbers when last time round in the o2 they had to do BOGOF deals then yes it's very likely there were loads of comps/freebies

I knocked Haye and this fight and I stand by that but David proved me wrong on 2 parts- Haye turned up to fight and didn't pull out and the venue was very busy.

I need to see him fight again by hopefully May then the pressure from the public to force a Joshua fight will be ****ing huge

I thought it would bomb but looks like it didn't.

I work with someone who's gf works at the, O2. He got 4 free tickets and his gf said they legitimately sold 12000 tickets. They had a decent uptake on Friday and Saturday shifting a few extra thousand.

Tickets in just under half the venue were available to buy the night before.
