My answer: I think Ward is to cleaver and fast, and will make Kovalev feel VERY uncomfortable... Just my opinion.

As a Ward fan, (Kovalev fan as well but bigger Ward fan), I think it's foolhardy of Ward to take on Kovalev at this point of him not being an active guy in the ring. If he were active, I'd say it's a 50/50 fight. An inactive Ward against a killer like Kovalev (and he is a killer), I don't see Ward winning. You have to be on point to beat Kovalev, and an inactive guy isn't giving himself the best opportunity to be on point.
