You repeating same arguments again and again. Your arguments have been discussed numerous times here and it was proved that they don't have any ground but you still continue to repeat your mantras.

The more GGG acomplishes the more furiously you repeat your mantras in a hope that one day he will loose and that he will not get big fights.

 

Both Lara and his manager have come out public stating they'd welcome a Golovkin fight so who give a **** who Haymon likes or doesn't like to do business with.

Fights have happened in the past where one fighter is with one network and the other at a different network.

In most cases when the fighters want to face eachother, they'll both jab eachother through the media and get the ball rolling.
The only fighter doing any talking here is Lara and his team.
Team Golovkin is mum about anything to do with Lara and are once again on their mission to pick a bum of the month fighter to add to their resume.


Golovkin badly needs a fighter on his resume the caliber and quality of Lara. There isn't anyone on Golovkin's resume that even comes close to that
With Golovkins team talking left and right about how special a fighter he is, the least they should be doing is entertaining the idea of facing Lara, but that isn't what is happening.

Golovkin's team seems to be steering him clear of Lara. They don't seem to want any part of him.

 

Up to this point Lara has brought nothing to the table to even be considered as a GGG opponent. No belt, no 160 ranking, just a name. Welp, looks like that last requisite might be enough as there are no other names out there for GGG to take on. Definitely no one with the same skill set to challenge GGG who is available, in/around his weight class, and WANTS to fight Golovkin. While I think Lara gets TKO'd, he would at least present a nice stylistic change of pace and a name. Even if his last outings on broadcast TV have been less than stellar.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing the fight.

But realistically it looks like there are too many obstacles without enough incentive for the people who could make it to build bridges over them.

The demand from people on this board is just GGG haters desperate to cry "duck" so they can have something to cry about.

 

Are the obstacles being mentioned basically Al Haymon? HBO said not long ago they are open to working with any promoters and with all the talk Lara has put out there about taking on GGG, I could see him forcing his hand so speak if the fight presented itself. Thing is, someone, on some side, needs to get off twitter and actually present some offers. I can't think of anyone else GGG could fight next who would be close to as big a name as Lara, even if it's mostly a name among boxing enthusiasts, not so much the casuals.

 

Williams, Trout, Canelo, that's a pretty good list of fighters that Lara has faced, two of those he dominated.
So your argument about some of us making demands that GGG fight Lara doesn't hold water, more so when you consider Golovkin's actual fight team and his fans crying about "everybody is ducking GGG!"

Well then, in Lara you have a quality fighter well beyond the caliber that GGG has faced, and he doesn't even want to entertain the thought of facing him.

Lara is the most skilled and dangerous Golovkin has ever faced, and the weak excuses K2 is making really makes it appear they are afraid and ducking. Didn't Golovkin and K2 say he was going to fight 4 times in 2016? :yep

 

I hope this fight gets made. I would obviously pick GGG but Lara would easily be the best fighter he'd faced. Neither is doing anything exciting anyway.
